Young Runaways are a six-piece who use violin, keys, trumpet and trombone alongside the more traditional guitar, drums and bass to produce radio-friendly rock and roll one moment, and elegant chamber pop the next. Comprising siblings and friends from the West Midlands, and fronted by the close harmony talents of Harriet J Woodcock and songwriter Matt Pinfield, the band is blessed with killer hooks, great melodies and dynamic arrangements – all delivered in short, sharp three-minute bursts.
