Drummer Sam hails from Southampton and is assisting the jazz bookings here at the Yardbird, as well as being one of the finest jazz drummers around. His band are phenomenal and the arrangements of these standards/originals will make an incredible, supercharged night of hard swing.
Every Thursday night expect the slinkiest live jazz with notes of gospel, latin, blues and funk from the finest local, national and international artists performing two sets with occasional impromptu jazz jams into the early hours and old school souljazz DJ sets from Yardbird owner, Ollie Lloyd filling the gaps.
Doors: 8pm till 2am. Free entry.
